This Privacy Policy explains how RM ECOM, trading as Jarrett Home ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit www.jarretthome.com (the "Site") or buy from us.
We are the business responsible for your personal information. You can reach us at support@jarretthome.com.
1. Information we collect

- Name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number
- Order details and purchase history
- Payment information — card details are collected and processed directly by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
- Messages you send to customer support, and reviews or photos you submit
Information collected automatically
- Device and browser type, operating system, screen size
- IP address and the approximate location it indicates (city or region level, not precise geolocation)
- Pages viewed, products viewed, time on site, referring website
- Cookie and pixel identifiers
Information from third parties
- Order and fraud-screening data from Shopify and our payment providers
- Advertising and analytics identifiers from Meta, Google, and TikTok
- Shipping status from our carriers
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, precise geolocation, biometric data, health information, or information about your race, religion, sexual orientation, or union membership.
2. Why we use it
- To process, ship, and support your order
- To take payment and screen for fraud
- To answer your questions and handle returns
- To send order and shipping notifications — these are transactional and are not marketing
- To send marketing emails or texts, only where you have opted in, and you can opt out at any time
- To measure and improve the Site, our products, and our advertising
- To show you relevant ads on other platforms, and to measure whether they worked
- To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations
3. Sharing and the meaning of "sale" under U.S. law
We do not sell your personal information for money.
However, under California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, and several other state privacy laws, using advertising cookies and pixels can count as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use Meta, Google, and TikTok advertising tools on this Site, so we treat our use of those tools as "sharing" and we give you the right to opt out — see Section 6.

4. How long we keep it
- Order records: 10 years, to meet accounting and tax obligations
- Customer support messages: 3 years after your last contact
- Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe, then up to 3 years
- Analytics and advertising identifiers: up to 13 months
5. Security
We use HTTPS across the Site, restrict access to personal information to people who need it, and rely on providers who maintain recognized security standards. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you where the law requires it.
6. Your rights — United States
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we hold about you, and how we use and share it
- Delete your personal information
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Obtain a portable copy of your information
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for targeted advertising
- Opt out of profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information
- Appeal a decision we make about your request
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower quality of service.
How to exercise them. Email support@jarretthome.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". Tell us which right you want to exercise and the email address you used to order, so we can locate your records. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity — we use it only for verification.
We respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you within that period and may extend once by a further 45 days.
Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will ask for written proof of their authority and may ask you to confirm it directly.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. To opt out of advertising cookies and pixels, visit our Your Privacy Choices page, use the cookie banner on the Site, or email us with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share".
Global Privacy Control. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out of the sale and sharing of personal information.
Minors. Our Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16.
California — Shine the Light. California residents may request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Email us with "Shine the Light" in the subject line.
7. Your rights — Europe and the United Kingdom
Because RM ECOM is established in France, the EU General Data Protection Regulation also applies to our processing. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time.
We rely on these legal bases: performance of a contract (processing your order), legitimate interests (improving the Site, preventing fraud), consent (marketing, non-essential cookies), and legal obligation (accounting, tax).
Where we transfer personal information outside the EEA or the UK, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
You may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), or with your local supervisory authority.
8. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to run the Site, plus analytics and advertising cookies that we set only with your consent. You can change your choices at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site from working.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will change the "Last updated" date above, and where changes are significant we will give notice on the Site.
